As they continue their journey, Satoshi and his friends find a river and let their Pokémon swim in it. There, Satoshi introduces the other Pokémon to Numera. Meeting all these Pokémon for the first time makes Numera rather nervous. Dedenne approaches it, but Numera still plain can't handle Fairy types.
Just then, the Rocket Gang shows up to catch the Pokémon! Numera, Yancham and a couple of the other Pokémon get caught in their trap, but the entire commotion causes a group of Hasubrero living in the river to become absolutely furious, attacking everything around them. Satoshi and the others manage to escape into the forest, but they end up getting separated...
