Satoshi and his friends have arrived in Hiyoku City. Hearing that a lost Vanipeti is being kept in a safe shelter at the Hiyoku City Pokémon Center, they immediately head there. However, the Vanipeti ends up getting abducted by the Rocket Gang. The group chases after the Vanipeti, but suddenly snow starts falling heavily!
